ProcessMonitor extended web-based 'Remote Monitoring Solutions'
Besides several stand-alone and/or local solutions, ProcessMonitor also offers extended internet based or web-based 'Remote Monitoring Solutions'
for the benefit of (production) process efficiency, optimalisation, monitoring and guarding.
The remote locations which should be monitored and guarded by the ProcessMonitor 'Remote Location Surveillance', can be located all over the world.
The information for the user is available through the ProcessMonitor web-portal and can be used in example for (field)services or logistic purposes.
Some examples of process-parameters, where we can supply the 'Remote Location Surveillance' solution for:
Pressure, level, temperature, flow, vibration or unbalance, dust emission, turbidity, conductivity, (solved) oxygen, etc. etc. Also a combination of these parameters at one location are possible.
Shortly: As long as your sensor, instrument, (field)device or other equipment has an analog output, you can take advantage of ProcessMonitor.

Visualisation of the collected data with the ProcessMonitor web-portal
[LOGIN]
You will get access to the website through
a secured login at the first page. The unique combination of username and password
also determines the user access rights on site, e.g. whether the user is able to change setpoints or alarms.
[OVERVIEW]
After login, you’ll get a geographic overview, a plan or map, with all your locations and a hyperlink to the alarm page.
Double clicking on a TAG, will bring you directly a historical trend of the last week.
[ALARM OVERVIEW]
At the alarm page you will find each location, which has reached a customer defined condition, with the following information:
actual status or measured value, location, TAG-number, error- or alarm message and timestamp.
Each location will show you four alarm status situations at remote site as a standard: pre-warning alarm; alarm, HIGH-alarm and
HIGH-HIGH alarm. Below each processparameter is in text the following information: TAG-no, max. or min. value, actual value,
date and time of last data collection.
[ALARM ACKNOWLEDGE]
Apart from sending a SMS (Short Message Service) with a mobile cell phone to acknowledge an alarm, there is also a
web-page where the user can acknowledge his alarms, also to show all other users of the service that the alarm condition is
being noticed.
[HISTORY]
At the history page there are two pre-defined periods you can choose, last week or last month. The third possibility is a free
to choose period between 1 day till 3 months maximum. At last you can choose between “Show as Graph” or “Show as Table”.
[ALARM PAGE]
At the alarm page you can choose for four different setpoints or alarms e.g.:
- High-High alarm
- High alarm
- Low alarm
- Low-Low alarm
or
- High-High alarm
- High alarm
- Alarm
- Pre-Warn
As soon as you’ve filled in a valid value for one alarm setting, the graphic presentation of TAG, as described above, will
change colors. If you also pointed the “enable” box, you will receive an alarm per E-mail and/or SMS.
[MISCELLANEOUS]
Due to the open structure of the database, it is possible to send you the collected data of each tank or silo in e.g. XML- or
CSV-format to integrate this data into ERP-, MIS, logistic plan or other software systems. Please contact us for more detailed information about this feature.
Service Level:
The availability & reliability of the ProcessMonitor provided service
The ProcessMonitor software platform is being offered to customers as a web-based service, through the Internet. The compensation for access to the ProcessMonitor website and it’s services, is based on a subscription with a 1-year or 3-year contract. This means customers don't have to make any software investments and aren't responsible for maintenance and/or availibility of the application.
Although ProcessMonitor b.v. is a young, growing and promising company, customers generally ask for a guaranteed long term
continuance, availability and reliability of the provided services. This is just one of the arguments why the whole
ProcessMonitor software solution is being hosted by a professional third party as
RAM Mobile Data.
Hosting of hard- and software applications are services, which requires scaleable, ordered and well maintained infrastructures and knowledge from (mobile) applications till access to the different (mobile) telecommunication networks. Moreover, these disciplines have to be integrated prosperous. The knowledge to get this done is present at RAM Mobile Data. The last few years RAM Mobile Data has grown to an interchange for (mobile) data communication, where several different (mobile) networks come together and daily enormous amounts of (mobile) data traffic comes across.
The communication between the ProcessMonitor software platform and the customers/users is via an Internet connection. Therefore RAM Mobile Data has at his disposal a redundant Internet connection with the fiberglass-ring of MCI in the center of Holland. The security of this connection is guaranteed through several checkpoint firewalls.
Additionally, the complete network and application can be guarded 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The control center is the
basis for the Navigator Center where all connections, network- gateways and middleware platforms come together.
Besides the daily back-up of the (application) data on the different systems, the system management and monitoring tool 'RoboMon' is being used: if there any malfunctioning occurs, the Network Control Center will receive an alarm. Dependent on the Service Level that has been chosen by each customer, a pre-defined action will be undertaken.
As a result of all this, RAM Mobile Data guarantees the availability of the
system with 99,5%(!) per month.
